"Palamo Starlite
Exposure"
aka PJ is a palomino tobero gelding
by Overexposed. While being campaigned by Steve Thake some of PJ's
achievements include:-
State Paint show
2006 - Res Champion Western Pleasure
High Point 2 year
old 2006 - Maryborough & District Western Performance Club
ROM in Western
Pleasure - 2006
Some words from PJ's owner
Debbie.....
"After not riding
for many years I had decided it was time to get back in the saddle.
With my confidence at an all-time low, it would take a very special
horse to help me conquer my fears, and see me achieve my goal of showing
in Western Performance.
The day we went to look at PJ, it was blowing a gale and I remember
thinking, "Great, this horse will be freaking out with all this wind".
But no, not PJ, he was extremely calm, and did everything that was
asked. He was everything I was looking for, with the added bonus of
being gorgeous!!
In a very short time PJ has helped me re-gain my confidence. No matter
what is asked of him, I feel he is there for me 100% We have done heaps
of trail riding, been to pony club, and even attended our first clinic
(The Qld State Paint Horse Adult Camp).
With PJ's help I have been able to overcome my fears, and see myself
achieving my goal of getting out there in the show ring very soon."

"Palamo Impressahoney"
Palamo Impressahoney aka Candy is a
palomino paint-bred filly by Overexposed and out of a Swanee San
Commander mare. At only 3 years of age she was awarded ROMS in
Hunter Under Saddle and Trail. Well done!
Some words from Anissa........
"I found Candy on a NSW
website for sale. I was looking for a pally and was rapt with the
added bonus of her being a Paint. We drove a long way to see her.
She was 18 months old and I immediately fell in love with her quiet
nature and pretty looks. From the moment she was broken in by my
husband she showed a trainable nature far beyond her years. Her
show performance to date has been outstanding picking up many awards
including a ROM in HUS and Trail whilst still in her 3rd year. Oh,
and don't be fooled into thinking that because she's a solid paint that
collecting points has been easy. Only at State level do we compete
just against solids. All other shows are against all breeds of
horses. I would recommend the breed of this filly to anyone
looking for trainability, versatility and quietness."

Continuing success..... Linda &
Graham's "Palamo Make Me Over"
Some words from Linda.......
"On the 8th of August 2005
my husband and I purchased a lovely yearling filly. Palamo Make Me
Over is by Overexposed out of Palamo Painted Delight (x Peppys Painted
Bandit). She has an impeccable temperament and is pretty to go
with it!
In 2005 we took her to the
Mary Valley Show winning First in Colourama and Reserve Champion
Colourama Horse overall. We then went to Beerwah Charity Sports
Show. She won Reserve Champion Paint overall. It was good to
compete in our local show at Eumundi. Even better, we were first
in Colourama, she then was Champion Colourama and then finally winning
Supreme Champion Colourama overall.
To finally end the season,
we took her to the Gunalda Show. She won her paint class, and then
Champion Paint of the Show and also won her Colourama class overall.
What a great girl!!"

2003 Hi Point
Amateur Owner of WA
2005 Hi Point Youth
of WA
Some words from Mel.......
I have had Impressive
Peppy Doc or 'Manny' as he is known for 6 years now. He is the first
paint I ever owned and have never looked back. I bought him from
Victoria as a yearling. He is also the first horse I have broken in, he
has such a wonderful nature and so easy to train. In 2003 we took out Hi
Point Amateur Owner of WA and last year in 2005 he took his youth rider
to Hi Point Youth of WA, all this from limited showing.

Speights is by Double Exposure, a colt bred by Julie
Wickham and exported to NZ.
Some words from Diane.......
Diamond Southern Exposure
(alias Speights) lives on the East Coast of the South Island NZ at
Hampden. He has his first 2 coloured foals on the ground and they are
beauties, just like their Father (sire Southern Exposure) they have his
kind nature and are exceptionally good to handle. His progeny speak for
themselves with their good conformation.
